Capture&nbsp;Notes\u003C\u002Fspan>\u003C\u002Ffigcaption>\n\u003C\u002Ffigure>\n\u003Cp>Re-highlighting my Kindle highlights already helps me to refresh my memory about the topic.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\n  Plus, Web Highlights gives different&nbsp;\n  \u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fweb-highlights.com\u002Fdocs\u002Ffeatures\u002Fhighlight-webpages\u002Fformatted-highlighting\">formats\u003C\u002Fa>\n  &nbsp;like headings and blockquotes, which makes it easier to review them later when we’re putting them into our\n  “Second Brain.”\n\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Ch3 id=\"2-bolded-passages\">2. Bolded&nbsp;Passages\u003C\u002Fh3>\n\u003Cp>\n  In the next step, we are extracting our highlights to the note-taking tool of our choice. Bolded&nbsp;Passages\u003C\u002Fspan>\u003C\u002Ffigcaption>\n\u003C\u002Ffigure>\n\u003Cp>Can you notice how much simpler it is to review the main points now?\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\n  Picture the gap between reading the original book parts, which might need five to ten minutes of focused reading,\n  compared to just scanning through these bolded points, which would take less than a minute.\n\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\n  During a hectic workday, this could rescue us some valuable minutes. However, we’re not done yet. Let’s incorporate\n  the third layer to enhance the practicality of our highlights even further.\n\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Ch3 id=\"3-highlighted-passages\">3. Highlighted Passages\u003C\u002Fh3>\n\u003Cp>\n  Some of our bolder passages are still quite long. We can grasp the main\n  message of the section in seconds.\n\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\n  Let’s get to the last point to make our highlights &amp; notes as discoverable as possible by adding an executive\n  summary.\n\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Ch3 id=\"4-executive-summary\">4. Executive Summary\u003C\u002Fh3>\n\u003Cp>\n  The executive summary is an extra step we can take to grasp the main idea of an article or book more quickly.&nbsp;\n\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\n  Tiago Forte suggests it’s not always needed, but it can be useful at times. Simply review the bolded and highlighted\n  sections, then summarize them in your own words. You could also use ChatGPT to do that, but a personal touch makes it\n  easier for your future self to understand.&nbsp;\n\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>You can place this summary at the beginning of your document.
