It can directly access and process your notes, and it can operate completely offline, ensuring your\n  data remains private and secure.\n\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Here is how to set it up:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Ch3 id=\"1-install-ollama\">1. Install Ollama\u003C\u002Fh3>\n\u003Cp>\n  Ollama is an open source tool that lets you run large language models like Llama 3, Phi 3, Mistral, Gemma, and others\n  locally on your computer.\n\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cblockquote>\n  ℹ️ You can skip this step if you prefer to use an OpenAI model with your local files. Install the Obsidian Smart Second Brain Plugin\u003C\u002Fh3>\n\u003Cp>\n  Now that Ollama is running, the next step is to integrate it with Obsidian using the Smart Second Brain plugin.
