Some sites tell pages apart\n  only by an ID in the address (product pages, forum threads, database records): those used to share one bookmark, so\n  notes from one page showed up on another. Each now gets its own bookmarks and highlights. And the reverse: tracking\n  clutter — utm codes, the \"si\" tag in YouTube share links and similar — no longer counts as a different page, so your\n  highlights appear no matter which link variant brought you there.
