Consequently, Google will rank it further down in future results.\n\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\n  On the other hand, if a website is already\n  \u003Cstrong>ten years old\u003C\u002Fstrong>\n  , the\n  \u003Cstrong>domain is registered\u003C\u002Fstrong>\n  with\n  \u003Cstrong>contact details\u003C\u002Fstrong>\n  , users regularly\n  \u003Cstrong>spend a lot of time\u003C\u002Fstrong>\n  there, and it links different social media channels with thousands of followers — Then the website can be trusted, and\n  Google will rank it higher.\n\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\n  It follows that you can do these things to\n  \u003Cstrong>increase the trustworthiness\u003C\u002Fstrong>\n  of your website:\n\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cul>\n  \u003Cli>\n    \u003Cstrong>Contact information\u003C\u002Fstrong>\n    : Make sure to have valid contact information on your website, including an email address, phone number, and\n    physical address. If you start from scratch, the most obvious way is to wait. By doing this, you are already 90% ahead of all websites.\n\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Ch4 id=\"identify-your-target-audience\">Identify your target audience\u003C\u002Fh4>\n\u003Cp>Now it’s about posting not only good content but content for people your target audience cares about.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cblockquote class=\"kg-blockquote-alt\">\n  After all, there’s no point in posting great articles about the best soccer shoes if you’re selling tennis rackets.\n\u003C\u002Fblockquote>\n\u003Cp>\n  Identify your target audience and create content around it. Consider demographics, interests, and pain points. This\n  will help you identify the keywords they are likely to search for.\n\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Ch4 id=\"use-keyword-research-tools\">\u003Cstrong>Use keyword research tools\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fh4>\n\u003Cp>\n  Several keyword research tools, such as Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz, can help you identify\n  relevant keywords for your website. These tools provide you with data about search volume, competition, and potential\n  traffic for specific keywords. Personally, I use\n  \u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fapp.ahrefs.com\u002F\" rel=\"noopener\">\u003Cstrong>Ahrefs\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fa>\n  \u003Cstrong>.\u003C\u002Fstrong>\n\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\n  Even though the free version of Ahrefs is very limited, it still provides important insights into my organic keywords.\n  It provides a table of all the keywords on my\n  \u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fweb-highlights.com\u002F\" rel=\"noopener\">website\u003C\u002Fa>\n  . For these keywords, web-highlights.com ranks in position 2–4. But it wasn’t always like this. Unfortunately, Ahrefs\n  free plan does not include the position history chart. But you would see that in the last month, I focused on getting\n  those keywords to the top.\n\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Ch4 id=\"identify-keywords-with-high-potential\">Identify keywords with high potential\u003C\u002Fh4>\n\u003Cp>\n  Now you know for which keywords you rank best. It’s time to identify the most relevant keywords for your target\n  audience.\n\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\n  My general process looks like this: I sort my keywords for position and go down the table. Then I look at relevant\n  keywords for my target audience. Furthermore, I look at keywords with high\n  \u003Cstrong>volume\u003C\u002Fstrong>\n  and moderate\n  \u003Cstrong>difficulty\u003C\u002Fstrong>\n  . Then I focus on creating quality content around those keywords on my website. By doing this, you will quickly see\n  results.\n\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cblockquote>\n  \u003Cstrong>One important note:\u003C\u002Fstrong>\n  The “keyword stuffing” strategy, where you just bluntly pack all the keywords on your website may have worked decades\n  ago but is nowadays penalized by Google. In fact, it can actually harm your rankings. Instead, try to incorporate your\n  keywords naturally into your content without overdoing it.\n\u003C\u002Fblockquote>\n\u003Cp>\n  It’s also important to remember that keyword research is an ongoing process. Continuously monitoring and optimizing\n  your website’s content and meta tags to ensure they match your target audience's interests and search intent will help\n  you stay ahead of the curve and rank highly in search engines.\n\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Ch3 id=\"final-thoughts\">Final Thoughts\u003C\u002Fh3>\n\u003Cp>\n  Google wants to have legit and trustworthy sites at the top.
